• Secondary Course (Class 10): Must be at least 14 years old. You need a Class 8 pass certificate or a self-certificate stating you have studied enough to sit for the Class 10 exam.
• Senior Secondary Course (Class 12): Must be at least 15 years old and have passed Class 10 from a recognized board.

1. Register: Create an account on the NIOS SDMIS Portal using your mobile number and email ID.
2. Fill Details: Enter your personal information and select your state/UT.
3. Select Course & Subjects: Choose either Secondary or Senior Secondary and pick your required subjects.
4. Upload Documents: Keep scanned copies of your Aadhaar card, passport-size photo, signature, address proof, and previous mark sheet ready.
5. Fee Payment: Pay the registration fee online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.

• Valid Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID).
• Address Proof (Ration Card, Electricity Bill, or Aadhaar).
• Age Proof (Birth Certificate or Class 10 Marksheet).
• Previous Class Marksheet / School Leaving Certificate.

On-Demand Examinations (ODE): If you do not want to wait for the block exams, you can also register for On-Demand exams which run during specific months (like June to September) allowing you to sit for tests when you are ready.

Subject Flexibility: You can choose from a wide range of academic and vocational courses, and you design your own combination.

Transfer of Credit (TOC): If you are failing or transferring from another recognized board (like CBSE, ICSE, or State Boards), you can transfer marks for up to 2 passed subjects
