Eligibility Criteria

• Class 10 (Secondary):Minimum 14 years of age as of July 31, 2026 (for Block 1). Candidates must have passed Class 8 or have enough knowledge to pursue the secondary course (self-certificate required).
• Class 12 (Senior Secondary):Minimum 15 years of age. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board.

NIOS Admission Upcoming Deadlines

• April 2026 Public Exams (Block 2):Regular registration for this block is Open with a consolidated late fee of ₹1000.
• April 2027 Public Exams (Block 1):Registration is scheduled to start on April 01, 2026, on the official NIOS SDMIS portal

How to Apply

1. Visit the official NIOS SDMIS portal.
2. Click on ‘Admission’and select ‘Academic’ for Stream 1.
3. Register with your email and mobile number to receive an OTP.
4. Fill in personal details, select subjects, and upload required documents (Photo, Identity Proof, Marksheets).
5. Pay the fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
